What is Ximdesk?

Ximdesk is a social platform, designed specifically for group working, knowledge sharing, collaboration and innovation. The goal of Ximdesk is to allow professional users to set up social collaborative environments from which they can work, interact and share information. Ximdesk is available as both a subscription web-based service or enterprise version for large organisations, government and education.

How does Ximdesk work?

Firstly, sign up through our quick registration. Ximdesk is very easy to use and has been designed to ensure a smooth and enjoyable social work experience. Secondly, begin to explore the many features and functions. Create groups and invite your work partners and colleagues. My Dash provides a 'snapshot' of your account and current status. My Work displays your current work activities. Create a blog entry, a podcast or a wiki so your group members can begin collaborating and sharing information.

How much does Ximdesk cost?

Ximdesk is free to use during Beta development. Beta users can sign up, create groups and be invited into both public and private groups without having to pay a penny. Beta members can also create up to three (25) groups and utilise the full range of social apps and the XimMail and office apps features within their free account facilities. Members wishing to create more than 25 work groups should upgrade to the secure Essential Service, which costs £3/month, or £24/YEAR or £12/6 months or £6/Quarter if pre-paid, when available. Ximdesk Premier offers unlimited work space, unlimted no. of groups and invites - with added 128 bit SSL security for only £10/MONTH or £95/YEAR or £48/6 months or £24/Quarter, when available.
